Two young boys were passionate about collecting cards. They dreamt of one day opening a card shop. Kris Wheble and George Mares made vow to finish college and pursue their dream. Kris was murdered for no apparent reason during his freshman year at University of Arizona. After many hardships, trials and tribulations George realized the dream in the summer of 1998.
Showtime Cards was founded in July 1998 in Tucson, AZ. It began in a 900 sq. ft. retail store and grew to a 3000 sq. ft. facility. Showtime operated a Team Shop at Tucson Electric Park for eight years. We also produced the Tucson Sidewinders cards the same amount of seasons.
Although the retail store is the main operation, we continue to grow our on-line business. It consists of an eBay store (ebay id: showtimeg) and our web-site, showtimecards.com.
Showtime takes pride in our Customer Service. We have a well knowledge staff that is always eager to assist with any questions. We have an extension selection in sealed Sports Boxes as well as Gaming products. We carry all hobby protective supplies. Also, we have millions of sorted single in stock for sports and gaming.
